I blame… the sea

Dear Kittens,

HAHAAAAA! You see that! “open water” is where I’m at! How many people have said that about Oceanic, Australia, Queensland, Cairns!? (At least one other guy by my math… but he’s a turd burglar who’s got his coming.) If you have no idea what I’m talking about, turn off the computer and go back to sleep. This is all a dream.

Last couple wizzles I’ve been working on the old DVS site which is technically finished. Try visiting it at daintreevanilla.com if you don’t believe me. DO. IT. It took a buttload of work done in half a buttload of time, making it half-assed. The edges still need smoothing, so play gently for now. If you break I will so sue your ass!

Being as that last paragraph pretty much summarizes the gap between now and my previous entry, I’ll just tell you that I’m aboard a vessel called the Shogun somewhere to the east of Cairns. We’ve been steaming for a good day and a half. So far I haven’t vomited. I have, however, eaten a sandwich and a bunch of gummy candy which is the opposite of vomiting… I think. Or maybe it’s pooping… dunno. I have to go do that now anyway. We’ll get it tucked on in there. On down the old muddy trail. Why do you still come here and read this?

We went over some safety information and whatnot yesterday. I reckon we’ve got a couple more days of this, then the game should be afoot. I’ve only had 10 minutes stick time behind the helm of a dinghy in my entire life. The process of monitoring a diver sounds difficult and tedious when described. I think that I’m slowly drifting into a half-conscious insanity. What an adventure it may be!
